He personally witnessed the journeys of loved ones and seen their struggles and pain which ultimately resulted in their passing such as his mother who succumbed to diabetes in 2001 and other family members and friends who went through terminal illnesses, diseases, and tragedy. His beloved wife has been dealing with chronic, debilitating symptoms from M.S. (Multiple Sclerosis) since 2004 as well as other close family members.
